- 1/2 cup pizza sauce + more for serving
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup pepperoni
- 24 pieces kitchen twine approximately 20 inches each
- olive oil for coating twine

- 6 pretzel sticks and sage leaves optional garnish
Garlic Herb Butter
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
- 2-3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
- salt and black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut 24 pieces of cooking twine, about 20 inches each, and lightly coat with olive oil.
Divide pizza dough into 6 pieces and stretch each into a small circle.
Fill each circle with pizza sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni. Pinch the dough closed and shape into balls.
Arrange 4 pieces of twine in a star pattern. Place a dough ball seam-side up in the center. Loosely tie the twine around the dough to create 8 pumpkin sections. Trim and flip seam-side down.
Combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Brush pizza pumpkins with egg wash and garlic herb butter.
Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Cool for 5 minutes. Carefully cut and remove all twine, then garnish with pretzel stems and sage leaves. Serve warm with dipping sauce.
